Ok Y'all, instead of a proud papa moment I am going to reverse the rolls and be the pround daughter and brag on my Dad. I may be a bit biased but I don't think so, my Dad ,Red Perry, is one of the best hunters in the world. He had a very sucessful hunting season this fall and I'd like to share his photos. A fantastic Oregon Bull Elk in Archery season and an Oregon Mule Deer for rifle season.

Craig Nowell
another long time lodge verteran has been spending some time in the Oregon woods as well. Here he is pictured with a boar black bear weighing 250# he harvested on his hunting adventure this fall. We will be seeing Craig in camp this January.

Father Craig Boehler and his Justin have been out in the wilds of Oregon bow hunting for the elusive wapiti, aka the mighty bull elk. Now this is one department that I have lots of experience in, hunting elk in the wilds of Oregon. Although the Boehler pair were not able to bag an elk Justin did however catch up to a black bear and harvest it with his bow. Hopefully more details to follow with a good hunting story also. As you can see Craig did his hunting in style sporting some 'Adobe Lodge' gear, and looking very fit to be hiking around those mountains.

Pictured below is Zach and Bill Scott. As many of our readers know Bill has been a guide with us for many seasons but did start out as an Adobe Lodge hunter. In 2020 his son Zach joined us in camp for the first time and returned again in 2021 and once again will be joining us this season. The father son duo had a fantastic summer hunting trip down to Africa and had great sucess, take a look at a couple of the beasts harvested. What a treasured hunt to spend as father and son.

| These two pics belong to HB Lantz. It is apparent that HB has been joining us for many, many years. The group pic is his office, predominatly filled with Adobe bucks. The other pic is of HB and a sensational buck he tagged in 1976 in Virgina. This buck scored 190.5 Buckmasters score in 2021. It was a massive brut dressedat 220#s, truely all natural back then. A fine animal.

| Pictured left is Bill Wurfel, another long time hunter of the Lodge and the McManus Camp. One of Bills favorite summer pass time adventures is bass fishing. He also always seems to be wearing an Adobe cap. What a great catch. We'll be seeing Bill this season again.
