Hunt # 5
Another one in the books, Hunt 5 was slow to start and the moon was full, the deer were moving in the night alot. But in the end it turned out to be successful. Some bucks are starting to come to rattling and some seem obliviuos still, you got me it's been interesting.

Hunt # 4
Hunt 4 was a great hunt, some really nice bucks were harvested. The bucks are starting to chase does a little but have not yet responded to rattling yet. Cooler mornings soon will set them in motion.

Hunt # 3
Well gosh, this was a tough hunt. The deer hunkered in and weren't moving much at all. On the last afternoon the weather cooled down and the deer emerged from the shade trees. All hunters tagged a buck and two on the last morning hunt.

Hunt # 2
It was definetly hot again, but the fan was on high! Wowzer the wind whipped through this hunt like a tazmanian devil. Despite the wind the hunters made easy work of it and had all but 2 bucks tagged by the first morning hunt.

Well it's official, hunt 1 is complete. Despite the weather being brutally hot for October some nice bucks were harvested. The doe count was great, six hunters tagged out and the others did take meat home as well. The heaviest doe weighed in at 103# and the heaviest buck weighed 185#. Enjoy the pics.
